Where to eat and drink

Lasseters lists five food-and-drink venues on site. Hours and age rules differ — check the table above before you bring kids past 10:00 pm or head for Casbah.

Tali — fine dining and hotel breakfast

Premium à la carte with modern Australian and contemporary Asian flavours, an open kitchen and an extensive wine list. The sit-down option when Juicy Rump's deck feels too casual for your group.

Juicy Rump — deck, beer garden and live music

Grill meals and cold drinks with MacDonnell Ranges views from the covered deck or beer garden. Inside: booths along full-length windows. 103-inch screen for sport, free Wi‑Fi, local and touring bands on the deck from 7:00 pm Fridays and Saturdays. Kitchen until 9:30 pm daily; the venue stays open later on Fri–Sat. Children are welcome until 10:00 pm. Casbah — cafe and bar at the heart of the casino

Full bar, coffee, meals and light snacks in a smoke-free seated area at the centre of the casino action. NT Keno terminals here as well as in the Sports Lounge — handy if you want Keno without the big-screen crowd. A late-night stop inside the casino footprint; 18+ only. Ring 08 8950 7777.

Tempo — private functions, not a walk-in restaurant

Intimate closed event space — private dining room, lounge and open bar. Grazing boards and cocktails for booked functions. 18+ event space only. Not open for casual drop-in meals.

Splash Cafe — poolside

Protein smoothies, coffee, beer, cocktails and light meals beside the heated resort pool — usually where you end up after the health club or a morning swim.

Stay — Crowne Plaza Alice Springs Lasseters

The hotel operates under IHG's Crowne Plaza brand. 205 guest rooms, resort pool, spa and sauna, fitness centre, Tali on site, and walk-in access to Juicy Rump, Casbah and the casino venues.

Next door in practice — the only purpose-built convention centre in Central Australia, with natural light and MacDonnell Ranges views. Lasseters handles casino and hotel; conference sales and event logistics go through the centre directly.

Weddings, incentives, conferences and gala dinners often pair a Tali or convention-catered meal with a Juicy Rump after-party — plan transport and age rules if your delegate list mixes casino access with family dining.

Commercial gym on the same Barrett Drive campus — group fitness, personal training, sauna, outdoor temperature-controlled pool with two 25-metre lap lanes, heated spa, crèche (membership tiers apply), and links to Splash Cafe.

Sample evenings without the gaming floor

A delegate week often runs Crowne Plaza check-in, daytime sessions at the convention centre, a catered dinner, then Juicy Rump for a casual wind-down — casino only if everyone is 18+ and dressed for the floor after 4:00 pm. Families tend to eat at Juicy Rump before 10:00 pm and use Splash Cafe by the pool. Keep under-18s out of Casbah and the gaming area. You can also skip the floor entirely: morning swim, Splash Cafe lunch, Tali at 6:00 pm — full day on campus, zero pokies.
